Despite the political unrest, the growth in Turkey cannot be ignored.  The organizers of the Dell Women’s Entrepreneur Network conference knew that and continued with the conference successfully.

The three day program attracted over 150 entrepreneurs, including founder and president of Scribeni, Chandra Clarke.  Clarke started Scribendi in 1997 and now supports over 200 highly educated document editors to edit and proofread documents in over 200 countries.  The conference focused on opportunities for business women in Turkey, including showcasing potential investors and business partners for those looking to expand internationally, in a country that will soon have over 35 million internet users and is ranked among the top 20 national economies.  Clarke remained engaged during the conference on Twitter and was a noticeable attendee.
