On July 18, Dell computer company shareholders will vote on whether or not to sell their shares at a premium price to the company’s founder, Michael Dell.

The company has struggled to recover from the stock market crash in late 2008, and CEO and founder Michael Dell says he can turn his company around by making it private and segmenting the business into specific niches, including software and consulting.  Dell began his company in Austin, Texas in 1984 and his now one of the fifty richest people worldwide.
