Habit Burger was founded in 1969 by two Southern California brothers in search of a good burger. What started out as a mom-and-pop joint is now a chain of 100 plus stores across America. Known for their “Charburger,” Habit Burger believes in being fresh, classic and simple. This week, Consumer Reports named them the best burger joint in America.
Their countrywide expansion began in 2007 when private equity firm KarpReilly LLC invested in the burger joint, and the success is outstanding. By 2013 Habit had crossed state lines into Arizona and Utah. According to Nation’s Restaurant News, new locations are set to open in Las Vegas, Seattle and New Jersey later this year.
