It has been two years since the successor to Steve Jobs was named, and Apple CEO Tim Cook has changed the image to fit his more subdued personality. The corporation has moved into a state of maturity, with a focus on ethics and business operations rather than the scrappy, innovative startup culture that Jobs was known for cultivating.
To celebrate, Cook will unleash a new iPhone redesign next month, and many people believe the new product will be an indicator of the direction Apple will head in the future. While many praise Tim Cook for being an intelligent and practical leader, some say he will never overcome the shadow of the tech company’s charismatic founder, who died in 2011 from cancer.
